Rev. Joshua Woelmer grew up in Madison, Nebraska, and Plano, Texas. He graduated from Concordia University Wisconsin with a B.A. in 2010, and from Concordia Theological Seminary, Fort Wayne, with an M.Div. in 2015. He spent one year in a seminary exchange program at Lutherische Theologische Hochschule in Oberursel, Germany. He previously served at Zion, Vassar, until coming to Trinity Lutheran in June of 2023. He has served on several District committees, and in 2022 he was elected District Secretary. He and his wife, Brianna, have been married since 2017 and currently have four children. Having grown up in Nebraska during the '90s, he is a Nebraska Cornhuskers fan. A hobby of his is brewing beer; you'll probably find a keg of his homebrew at Blocktoberfest!
